The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of physical activities on self-esteem after three types of physical activity programs were selected. One was a program that could allow children to acquire successful experiences individually, and another program could enable them to gain successful experiences in group. The third was a game program that was a variation of a sport game. The first was a taekwondo program, and the second was a soccer program. The third was a sport-type game program, and all the programs focused on giving participants successful experiences. It`s basically meant to investigate the influence of the three sorts of programs offering repeated successful experiences on children`s self-esteem in consideration of the way of participation and general characteristics in an attempt to suggest effective physical activity programs geared toward different age groups. As a result of analyzing the collected data from 402 children, it`s ascertained that there was a greater improvement in their self-esteem when they got exercise for a longer period of time. By grade, the upper graders got to have a better self-esteem when they played the soccer, and the lower graders became more self-esteemed that when they practiced taekwondo and played the game. It indicated that there was a change in their values of success with grade. As the lower graders had a bigger liking for the game and taekwondo programs that promptly enabled them to feel they did something successful, it`s required to provide lower graders with taekwondo or game programs to boost their self-esteem. In the case of the upper graders, the soccer program that allowed them to acquire successful experiences in group had a positive impact on their improvement of self-esteem.
