The purpose of this study is to explore the social implications of senior leisure sports space via the analysis of the `space production process` based on Lefebvre`s analysis framework. In order to perform this study, qualitative case-study method was utilized and participators of research, who were 8 participant in four spaces in C city selected by purposeful sampling method. Data was collected via in-depth interviews, participant observation and references. And the collected data was analyzed via cross-case synthesis method. The results of analysis derived from aforesaid process can be summarized as follows: First, spatial practice was drawn as `Increasing political interest`, `The change of the social awareness`, and `The positive change in the living conditions`. Second, representations of space was drawn as `The space for ensuring successful aging`, `The space of participation constraints` based on `Spatial practice`. Third, space of representation was drawn as `The space to regain personal health`, `The space for recovering social health`, and `The space of empathy`. Based on these results of analysis, the conclusions are as follows: The senior leisure sports space has been produced by the dialectical relationship of `Spatial practice - Representations of space - Space of representations`. Therefore, it is necessary to seek the development plan of senior leisure sports space and prepare a framework for the `Welfare state achieved through sports` based on a variety of social meanings and problems derived from the production process of space.
