The purpose of this study is to find out the location preference of residential officetel by household characteristics. For this study, we surveyed the residents who live in an officetel in Gwanak Gu, Seocho Gu, Ganggnam Gu. With the data from the survey, logistic regression analysis was performed to find out the location preference of residential officetel. First, the results of the analysis on the residents who want to buy and move show that the condition of public transit and the road condition are important whet they decide to move. Also, the results of the analysis on the residents who want to rent and move show that the condition of public transit, the amenity of natural environment, and the educational environment. Next, the results of the analysis on the household who wants to move by their age show that the household under 40s thinks the condition of public transit and the educational environment are important, whether the household above 40s thinks that the condition of public transit and the potential of development of the area. Third, the results of the analysis by the household income show that the household with lower income (less than 3 million won per month) thinks the condition of public transit and the neighborhood living facilities whether the household with higher income (more than 5 million won per month) thinks the condition of public transit, the road condition, and the potential of development of the area.
