본 고에서는 4차 산업혁명의 기반 기술인 인공지능의 보안문제를 인공지능의 안전 이슈, 인공지능의 보안 취약점, 그리고 인공지능을 활용한 보안기술로 나눠서 알아본다. 먼저 인공지능으로 인한 종말 시나리오를 통해 AI 가 설계된 대로 동작하지 않고 부작용을 낳는 것을 방지하는 세이프티 이슈를 알아본다. 두번째, 머신러닝을 속이거나 프라이버시를 침해할 수 있는 포이즈닝 공격, 회피 공격, 모델 추출 공격, 도치 공격 등 인공지능 취약점을 이용한 공격 방법 들을 소개한다. 세번째, 인공지능을 활용한 보안기술로 사용자 인증, CAPTCHA, 이상거래탐지, 신용예측 분야를 알아본다.
