이 연구의 목적은 태권도선수의 훈련목표설정수준이 자아존중감 및 진로의식성숙에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 밝히는데 목적이 있으며, 현재 사회 문제로 부각되는 청소년 문제와 그들의 진로에 관한 해결 방향을 설정할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 이 연구에서는 2011년도 대한태권도협회에 등록된 중•고등학교 태권도 선수들을 모집단으로 선정하였고, 자료 수집은 비확률표본추출법(non-probability sampling) 중 할당표본추출법 (quota sampling)을 이 용하여 총 550부 중 524부의 설문지가 회수되었고, 이 중 조사내용의 일부가 누락되었거나 불성실하게 답변되었다고 판단되는 자료 27부를 제외한 총 497부의 설문지가 최종 유효 표본으로 사용되었다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS/PC+ 18.0 Version (for windows) 사용하였다. 통계 분석 기법은 빈도분석, 요인분석, 일원변량분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다.이와 같은 연구방법 및 절차를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다.첫째, 훈련목표설정수준은 자아존중감에 영향을 미치고 있다.둘째, 훈련목표설정수준은 진로의식 성숙에 영향을 미치고 있다.셋째, 자아존중감은 진로의식 성숙에 영향을 미치고 있다.
The aim of this study is to elucidate what effect Taekwondo players' training goa set-up levels have on self-esteem and career awareness maturity and to provide basic data to build solutions to juvenile problems which are being magnified as social problems and their career paths. In order to achieve these goals, this research selected middle and high school Taekwondo player's registered in The Korea Taekwondo Association in 2011 as its population group, and for data collection, 524 out of total 550 questionnaires were returned using quota sampling out of non-probability sampling. Among them, 27 questionnaires, some of whose content was omitted or answered without sincerity were excluded and consequently, total 497 questionnaires were employed as the final effective samples. For research tools, structured questionnaires based on self-administered method were drawn up to be used. or background variables of the questionnaire, questions to measure general characteristics and for independent variables, questions to measure training goal set-up levels, for parameters, questions to measure self-esteem(overall, social, homely & school), and for dependent variables, questions to measure career awareness maturity(determination, conviction, purpose, preparedness & independence) were composed. They were employed after testing the credibility though a preliminary survey. In order to analyze collected data, statistical analysis techniques used in this study include frequency analysis, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. Though the above research methods and procedures, it drew the following conclusions: First, training goal set-up levels are exerting an effect on self-esteem. Second, training goal set-up levels are exerting an effect on career awareness maturity. Third, self-esteem is exerting an effect on career awareness maturity.
