In the Korea national spatial data infrastructure(NSDI) Portal, a large amount of spatial information produced or held by the public and private sectors is registered and circulated. In order to activate the use of spatial information directly or indirectly related to our life, it is required to create and manage a list of spatial information in various fields. Currently, NSDI classifies spatial information into seven types according to the government functional classification system. It is difficult for ordinary users to find the information that they want among huge amounts of spatial information that are produced or possessed by the public and private sectors. Especially, There are 28 kinds of spatial information data sets regarding public order and safety in NSDI. These data sets are about 1.1% of the total spatial information. In this study, a list of spatial information for disaster management was prepared, and inventory information on digital topographic map, satellite image, and digital elevation model was surveyed based on basic spatial information as a basis of spatial information utilization. In addition, layer information included in various thematic maps is cataloged according to disaster characteristics such as geological, or geographical features.
