This study is to explore country's roles by influence analysis and core/periphery analysis of final goods and intermediate goods trade networks among north, middle, and south America using social network perspective. In the network centrality analysis, there are few differences between two networks. This provides which countries are specialized in final goods or intermediate goods. In the importance analysis of final goods and intermediate goods, the most important countries are Canada, USA, Mexico, and Brazil in order. Regular equivalence analysis categorizes countries into 4 groups for final goods, and 3 groups for intermediate goods. Finally, core/periphery analysis shows that core countries are USA, Canada, and Mexico in final goods, and USA and Brazil in intermediate goods. These results show that Mexico is specialized in final goods trade and Brazil is focused on parts and components trade.
