The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship among dance sports participants’ Well Dying, Death Awareness and Subjective Well-Being among the elderly. A total of 109 dance sports participants aged over 65 years from 3 to 5 senior welfare center and senior academy in each selected administrative district of Daejeon. Statistical methods were an Analysis of Covariance and a multi-level model of structural equation modeling by using M-plus program. Followings are the results of this study. First, participation in dance sports significantly affected the elderly’s sense of well dying. Second, participation in dance sports significantly affected the death awareness of the elderly. Third, participation in dance sports significantly affected subjective well-being of elderly people. Fourth, dance sports participation had a significant influence on well dying, death awareness and subjective well-being both directly and indirectly. In addition, dance sports participation had a significant influence on subjective well-being mediated by well dying and death awareness.
