The quality and reliability of weapon system depends on quality assurance activity on development and production stage. It is hard to make perfect quality through quality assurance due to complex structure and production system of weapon system. In this study, we explain the procedure of quality assurance based on risk management to improve the effectiveness of quality assurance and introduce the application case of the real weapon system. In addition, the results of the application are discussed. Furthermore, we introduce the method to quantify risk identification and assessment using FME(C)A technique and propose the advanced procedure for risk identification.
