This artical is a kind of case study on formation and practice of community based Dementia Policy(Changwon city in Kyungnam Province). This Study is focus on systemetic and theoritcal processes of integrated community level Dementia programs, through Dementia Counseling Center as a basic and foundenental social arrangement. It is important that Dementia probleme is chosen as a public issues of social welfare policy and pratice in local government and especially it is very important implication that in this days when Dementia problems are private issues of dependant family or individual, Dementia policy and practice is adopted to public program. This case study is pointed as a model case of community level privat-public paternership example and integrated Dementia service program of medical-health sector and social welfare-counseling sector. It is anticipated that this synthesis program model will stimulate other local government Dementia policy program in action in our country.
