Due to lack of physical activities, obesity and blood circulation deficiency is main problems in old life. Behavioral studies related to overweight and obesity have been studied continuously. Health professionals and researchers have made efforts to find out if there are different stages of change in obese people and how they are related with weight loss, and if each stage of change could predict future behavior. One of the prominent theories which explain the mechanism between behaviors and outcome in terms of obese and overweight people is the transtheoretical model. In old life, exercise and other activities are helpful for promoting physical health and emotional wellness. In particular, periodical physical activities and social interactions can reduce risks of alcoholics and obesity, and thereafter improve overall life quality. In this study, 180 korean old adults were examined about their behavioral traits and obesity. The results showed that 20% of the patients were overweight, and 79% of them were obese. Means and standard deviations for self-determination and personality traits for each stage are provided in the table 3. For example, the mean score of extrinsic regulation was 1.47 in the PC and 1.68 in C and increased up to 2.42 in the P, 3.07 in the A, and 3.34 in the M. Other three regulation constructs showed the same patterns. In particular, intrinsic regulation showed remarkable contrasts over several behavior changes.
