The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of historical opinions on Goguryo between Chinese tour guides and Korean tourists who participate the Goguryo theme travel in China. Korea and China have shown their differences of opinions on the history of Goguryo. These differences of opinions may lead to knowledge transmission errors to Korean tourists who feel a craving for historical knowledge. To determine the different opinions on history of Goguryo between the two groups, two types of historical aspects which are the opinions on Goguryo for Korea and China were asked to the two groups of respondents. The data from both sets of respondents were then collected and compared. The collected data were analyzed using the PASW 18.0 software package. Reliability analysis and t-test were applied to analyze the data. The result of this study indicates that there is a significant difference of historical opinions on Goguryo between Chinese tour guides and Korean tourists. It also shows a significant difference on the opinions on the future relationship between the two countries. The Korean tourists responded positively in that they would like to foster good relations with China without arguments about the history on Goguryo while Chinese tour guides showed the tendency toward having good relations with Korea but with insistence of their aspects on the history on Goguryo. This may cause transmission errors of historical knowledge to the Korean tourists who visit the historical place of Goguryo in China.
