Report Errors
In this study, stress concentration factors of welded joints were analyzed. The stress concentration factor calculated from the hot spot stress equation suggested by IIW was compared with the existing equations. As a result, the stress concentration factor was confirmed to be similar to the Efthymiou proposed equation. and, the stress concetration factor is increased as the geometric parameter(ζ, τ, γ, Θ) increased. And the fatigue life is considered to be affected by the geometric parameter of the joint, the connection of the neutral point of the joint and the load direction of the member.
