Report Errors
Recently, with the development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, various research methodologies for block chain technology are being presented. Block chain technology is data forgery prevention technology that uses decentralized ledgers. Such block chain technology is being recognized as technology with a high utility value in various industrial fields including the IT industry. In particular, research and development for secondary block chain technology is under way overseas based on the research of primary block chain technology. However, research trends in Korea are still focused on primary block chain technology due to a high level of interest in virtual currency. This study uses patent big data to analyze block chain patents that have been applied for at USPTO. Here, the generated visualized material represents current technology trends and presents a basis through which the participation of diversified local players can be induced.
