The purpose of this study is to see learning experience in the course of Human Relationship, one of the liberal arts works in terms of education in applying the Problem-based Learning approach (henceforth PBL). The participants in this research are 61 undergraduates who have taken this course of Human Relationship and had never undergone the PBL before. The course of Human Relationship is performed by the lecture-centered approach, cooperating with the PBL, where two given problems should be solved just for 7 weeks. In solving each problem, participants keep a diary for personal reflection, and log on a daily record of the group assignment. Then, each group assessment should be collected and analyzed quantitatively through the repetitive comparison, and the triangle-measurement. The findings suggest that there are remarkable educational learning experience on six categories: the self-awareness through empathy, the understanding of others by applying an objective theory, the communication ability acquired by discourse skills, the management of conflicts through widening perspectives, the replacement of their own life, and the sense of effectiveness in the relationship. As a result, this shows that the course of Human Relationship needs the Problem-based Learning approach so that undergraduates can overcome the psycho-social difficulties of handling their own human relationships.
