Report Errors

The purpose of this study is to explore the gender equality implementation in TV programs for Infants and Children. The analysis target is 40 programs for infants and children that are currently broadcasted through EBS. Two researchers watched 40 programs to analyze and analyzed them through mutual adjustment. The results of this study were as follows: First, both male and female appeared the most, and female only appeared the least. Second, the male characters are more important than the female characters. Third, male job or role was more productive and positive than female. The results of this study are meaningful to suggest basic data on the gender equality implementation of TV program for infants and children.
