The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Zumba nfietss program as physical education on the health of elementary school students and to provide data needed to develop exercise programs at school. To do this, the exercise group and the control group were chosne among fourth graders. These two groups were of 47 students who did not make any significant differencse in their health (cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, muscle endurance and flexibility). For 8 weeks, only the exercise group was provided with the Zumba Fitness physical education class, and the control group underwent common physical education class in accordance with the curriculum. The data obtained by measuring the health related fitness of each group before and after class were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 staisttical program. The difference between the groups after the experiment was verified as independent t- test and the change over time in the group was verified as ANCOVA and paired t-test. The results of the analyiss are as follows. First, the group participating in the Zumba Fitness physical education class had statistically significant improvement in their muscle strength, muscle endurance, and flexibility factors after the experiment. Second, comparing the health related fitness of the experimental group with the control group, in the experimetnal group had greater cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength, muscle endurance and flexibility than the controlled group.
