Report Errors
The characteristics of Korean`s leisure attitude in contemporary society were found as followings; ① There are still more people who think that work is more important than leisure. However, without any sex and age differentiation, in-between group is the most overpowering. ② Among the functions of leisure, most people responded `resting` as leisure`s biggest purpose. ③ The younger the generation is, the more leisure is wanted even if their income becomes lower when in older generation, and more income raises are wanted even if it meant loss of leisure time. ④ Weekly(weekend) leisure plans seem to be most highly welcomed by Korean people. ⑤ Most people recognize that leisure should be emphasized in the future. ⑥ Economic conditions have facilitated people`s interests in leisure.
