The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between motivations, participation and sustainable intention of leisure sports in golf and to develop the relevant theory, thus activating the golfer`s participation. According to this study, it is clear that motivation affect participation of leisure sports. Therefore, the more active participation of the golfer can be led through the development of programs, the arrangement of various entertainment equipment, management of sports, and the development of programs which families or colleagues join. On the basis of the results and implications of this study, this can be used as an available literature to increase participation of the golfer by reducing strengthening motivation in leisure sports. In addition, this study will contribute to improving life quality and accomplishing the original purpose of leisure sports.
