This study got attention depression symptoms very related to the quality of life and death rate in old age. This research indicated the influences of therapeutic recreation on changing depression among elderly people staying at town house in Yongin-city, South Korea. A 7 sample over 60 years who assessed the depression symptoms participated in group recreation therapy sessions that were held twice weekly for a 7-week period, total 14 times. Mean depression scored decreased significantly from 9.28 before the intervention to 13.42 after it. It showed a statistically significant change. Following the progress note, most of objects changes their expression, behavior and attitudes. They smiled a lot more than before, waited before the class and they revealed social attitude changes such as much care about the clothes, make-up, and communication with others.
