A Study of Correlation between Interpersonal Relationship and Self-efficacy of Nursing Students Sok, R. Sohyune1)·Shin, Dong-Su2)·Kim, Kwuy-Bun1) 1) Professor, College of Nursing Science, Kyung Hee University 2) Professor, College of Nursing, Kyung Buk University Purpose: This study was to examine the correlation between interpersonal relationship and self-efficacy. Method: Design was descriptive correlative study, and subjects of this study were 273 persons who are students in nursing college. Measures were interpsersonal relationship measurement (Cronbach's alpha=.720) and self-efficacy measurement (Cronbach's alpha=.810). Data were collected from September, 2004 to December, 2004. Data were analyzed with SPSS PC+. Result: Findings were as followings. There was significant positive correlation between interpersonal relationship and self-efficacy (r=.462, p=000). In differences of interpersonal relationship according to general characteristics, there was significant difference in satisfied life in the University (F=7.047, p=.000). Conclusion: Further needs concrete nursing intervention to improve positively the interpersonal relationship that may effect on self-efficacy.
