The arts can be divided into rhythmical ones and formative ones. The poetry, music and dancing belong to the rhythmical arts, and the architecture, picture and sculpture belong to the formative arts. That is to say, there are six genre in the arts. The cinema is also known as the seventh art. It means that the cinema is the last art which puts all aspects of the six arts together. This shows that the cinema of a nation includes its all cultural and artistic codes.
This paper takes a general view of overall Arab cinema and Egyptian filmdom's past and today. Then it observes some aspects of Egyptian consciousness that emerged on Egyptian cinema screens.
The Arab Cinema shows true character of popular society anew through motif of omnipresent daily life. Without doubt Arab Cinema awakens the Arab that the most proper is the most world famous. Egyptian Cinema is not an exception of this trend.
