This article is to investigate the circulation of Jiu(酒: alcoholic beverage) in Han China. So to do prove and analysis its structure of circulation, contents are divided into three chapters. The first is its purchase and circulation, the second is the structure of market and third is control and discipline. Af first, it is investigated and discerned that office governments make their alcoholic beverage. When they needs the Jiu, especially in the case of diplomatic ceremony and distribution of Jiu, alcoholic beverage is not purchased but made in office. On the other hand, ordinary people purchases the Jiu in market. Though they make it in special time, especially in She Jie(社獵), that is not easy. Because money and crops are needed in production for alcoholic beverage. And government districts the making of Jiu. So we can not find the circulated Jiu without permission of office. And the market in which can buy jiu is not located in village town. Generally its market is located in the networks of 25 kilo radius. That is the expression of chinese classics for '五十里有市'. In the market office administration also is located, called it Ting(亭). Under the Ting people can purchase it. Its market is located in the place that people can come and go by walking during one day. Its figure can be took in the Hua Xing stones(畵像石). Office governor is dispatched into this Jiu market that also controled and disciplined by government as other markets. This kind of control includes the time restrict of opening in sun rise and ending in sun set, with restricts of price and tax.
