A study on the korean classic saga, starting in the late 1970s until now underway, but in literary education dimension the classic saga has never been dealt in earnest, rather, has been neglected by the culture perspective and in the evolution of text discussion.
In this paper, through the pluralistic culture perspective and through the perspective of cultural contents, it was found that korean classic saga is good text which should be in high school literature textbooks.
And I found that the goal of the literature curriculum which is setting in 2012 Curriculum of Korean Education reflected the pluralistic culture perspective and the perspective of cultural contents. Because the korean classic saga such as Okromong, hajinyangmunrok and yuhyogongseonhaengrok narrative structure is not monolithic, contents are different and various, topics are new and serious, cultural and social context is formed, We can the goal of the literature curriculum while learning the korean classic saga.
In conclusion, korean classic saga should be handled as text in Korean high school literature textbook.
