The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ego resilience on drinking problem and socialmaladaptation on acculturative stress and depression of Chinese students. The subjects were composed of 169Chinese students who were in the university of Seoul, Kyeongsang do, Jeolla do area. Using PASW 18.0program, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, moderated multiple regression were conducted. Acculturativestress was negative correlation with ego resilience and was positive correlation with depression, drinking problemand social maladaptation. Also this study showed that moderating effect such as ego-resilience can decreaseacculturative stress and depression effecting on drinking problem and social maladaptation. Therefore, this studyprovides the available knowledge for helping Chinese students to adjust better to Korean university life andculture.
