연구는 2004년부터 2010년까지 활동 했던 국가대표 엘리트 투척선수 115명(투창 47명-남 26명/여21명, 투포환 44명-남24명/여-20명, 투원반 11명-남 6명/여 5명, 투해머 13명-남 7명/여 6명)을 대상으로기초 및 전문체력의 세부종목별(투창, 투포환, 투원반, 투해머) 그리고 성별(남·여) 차이를 비교하는데 그목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 기초체력요인으로는 5종목(16개 세부항목)을 선정하였고, 전문체력요인은 5종목(12개 세부항목)을 선정하였다. 통계분석 방법으로는 비모수 분산분석 방법을 실시하였다. 결론적으로 엘리트 투척 선수들의 세부종목별 체력차이에서 남자선수들 간 차이가 많았다. 특히 남자투창은 폐활량, 순발력,근지구력, 등속성각근력에서, 남자투포환선수는 근력, 근지구력, 던지기에서, 남자투원반선수는 근지구력, 둥속성각근력, 던지기에서, 남자투해머집단은 근력과 근지구력에서 우수하였고, 여자투창은 근력, 유연성, 무산소지구력, 던지기에서, 여자투포환은 근력, 순발력, 유연성, 등속성각근력, 무산소지구력, 던지기에서, 여자투원반은 근력과 등속성각근력에서, 여자투해머는 유연성과 무산소지구력에서 상대적으로 우수하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the basic and specific fitness of elite national throwing players (i.e. javelin, shot put, discus, and hammer throwers). A total of 115 athletes who have played as national players over ten years participated in the study. There were sixty three male and fifty two female players (javelin: 26 male, 21 female; shoot put: 24 male, 20 female 20; discus: 6 male, 5 female, hammer: 7male, 6 female). Their physical strength was measured repeatedly; during the 10 minute exercise period and 5minute rest period. As a result, it was found that there was a large difference in the male players' fitness more than female players fitness. For male players, javelin athletes were significantly strong in pulmonary function, vertical jump, muscular endurance, and isokinetic muscular strength; shot putters in bench press,muscular endurance and throwing; discus athletes in muscular endurance, isokinetic muscular strength, and throwing; hammer throwers in bench press and muscular endurance. On the other hand, for female players,javelin athletes were relatively strong in bench press, flexibility, anaerobic endurance, and throwing; shot putters in bench press, vertical jump, flexibility, isokinetic muscular strength, anaerobic endurance, and throwing; discus athletes in bench press and isokinetic muscular strength; hammer throwers in flexibility and anaerobic endurance.
