Military physical strength examination means significant especially when it comes to the poor reality of Korean army’s physical training. The Ministry of Defense has amended an AFT in order to improve soldiers’ combat performance, by conducting tough and systematic physical training. However, continuation of such assessments seem virtually unfeasible due to respective conditions at each military unit. In the light of successful AFT settlement and further advancement of such test, our research is offering a fundamental but also crucial factor based on questionnaires and AHP analysis technique. The findings are as below. First, positive and active attitude of officers including the commander is necessary to stimulate the army. Secondly, each unit’s respective condition regarding their timing, location and context must be checked thoroughly in order for their club activities of physical training to be secured. The aforementioned function could be carried out by creating and encouraging club activities, thus changing the general atmosphere towards positive side. Third, even though support such as investment on facilities, financial support and dedicated specialized manpower are needed, this alternative is treated as less important and therefore, it is expected for the Ministry of Defense to verify every armed forces’ condition and effectively manage their resources.
