Ethnic Korean Community in Kazakhstan, had been known to the Korean Society since 1990ties, has experienced and changed with rapid development of Kazakhstan. Among various CIS ethnic Korean communities, Kazakhstani Ethnic Koreans achieved affirmative & positive relations and acceptance with indigenous groups, except some social sectors, contrasting to that of Uzbekistani Ethnic Korean group.
Kazakhstan, achieving surprising economic growth, has been emerged as new leading developing countries in the Eurasian Area. For ethnic Kazakhstani Koreans this period has became as good chances to joining in development process, which requires active bridging between historical motherland and contemporary homeland.
Within near future Kazakhstan goes toward spreading of indigenous language (linguistic Kazakhization) among non-ethnic Kazakh groups, who live in Kzakhstan. Then such situation requires active linguistic localization of ethnic koreans, who had been assimilated to the russian language and cultures since imperial russian period. Contemporary linguistic localization(kazakhization) would be foundation for keeping potentialities of sustainable growth of future Kazakhstani Ethnic Korean community.
