Fashion wig helps modern people with healthy hair or people with hair loss from external or internal factors to easily present the images they want. In this study, a theoretical study has been conducted on the personal factors and fashion wig to increase the efficiency of fashion wig. Since the academic studies on fashion wig are insufficient, the purpose of this study is to reveal an academic relationship between the field and academic approach. As for the main scope of study, a survey research was conducted with the general public and the analytical method through SPSS 12.0 program was used for empirical verification. As for the research result, it revealed the motives of individuals for selecting fashion wig, the pursued behavior purposes and the differences among the pursued behaviors that vary according to personal factors. In addition, it presented a viewpoint that the individual's selection of fashion wig is divided into the aspect of usefulness and the aesthetical pursuit purpose and fashion wig can be selected from a more efficient aspect. The analysis result revealed that there are differences according to the purpose of pursuing usage in the high level of satisfaction in one's hair condition (t=2.460, p<.05) and hair shape (t=2.777, p<.01).
