It is fact that the hospitality industry highly relies on human resources than any other industries. Employees in culinary department are well motivated when job transfer happens smoothly and that brings increasing productivity, maximizing efficiency and improvement of the quality of work. Moreover, employees may feel self-satisfaction by having job satisfaction and it is a good opportunity for self-development. The survey of this study happened from 20th of September, 2010 to 20th of October, 2010 objected to hotel culinary department employees in ten of five-star hotels in Seoul. Total 330 questionnaires were distributed and 318 were returned. The result of this study suggests that it is possible to obtain good employees by respecting and listen to them more carefully. Hotel companies have higher reliability to their associates compare to other industries, since associates have more guest contacts and they are the one who do the actual sales. Therefore, it is essential to hire potential employees,provide continuous supports to prevent boredom and mannerism of their jobs and offer opportunities for job transfer.
