흉부 대동맥 박리환자에서 혈관내 치료는 안전하고 양호한 임상성적들을 나타내고 있다. 대동맥 박리증 환자에서 합병증이 동반된 경우에는 상황에 따라 다양한 혈관내 시술 방법이 필요하다. 그러나 스텐트 그라프트는 삽입 후 제거가 어렵고 장기 추적관찰 시 재시술이 필요한 경우가 적지 않음으로 시술 전 영상 소견을 정확히 평가하고 모든 상황을 고려하여 치료 여부를 결정하는 것이 중요하다. 시술 후에는 정기적인 추적검사를 시행하는 것이 바람직하다. 합병증이 동반되지 않은 B형 대동맥 박리증 환자에서는 현재 혈관내 치료의 장기적인 성적에 대한 데이터가 충분하지 않음으로 더 많은 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
