This paper is to review the analyses of the syntactic category and internal structure of the small clauses and to propose a analysis based on Chomsky's(1995) Minimalist Program. For this study, I take a theory - Pollock's(1989) Split INFL Hypothesis and Chomsky's(1995) Minimalist Theory proposed AGRP as a category of small clauses. By viewing the category of small clauses as AGRP, the accusative case of the subject of the small clause is checked at the spec of AGRoP in a spec-head relation and the unification of subcategorization is also maintained. Therefore, I can say that the analysis of the small clause as AGRP in the framework of the minimalist theory is more reasonable.
