The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of mother's child-rearing attitude and child-rearing stress on infant's initial adaptation to child care center. An object of the study is totally 300 mothers in child care centers in Nowon Gu Province area, and finally 263 questionnaires survey results were used for statistical analysis. Collected data was statistically analyzed with SPSS 13.0 statistical program, and the statistical significance was verified with a significant level of 5%. First, as a result of the effects of mother's child-rearing attitude on infant's initial adaptation to child care center, it was shown that mother's affective-refusal rearing attitude affects infant's initial adaptation to child care center positively. Second, as a result of the effects of mother's child-rearing stress on infant's initial adaptation to child care center, it was shown that mother's rearing stress on expectation and nature for their sons and daughters affects infant's initial adaptation to child care center negatively. Finally, as a result of the effects of mother's child-rearing attitude on mother's child-rearing stress on infant's initial adaptation to child care center, it was shown that both mother's affective-refusal rearing attitude and self-regulating and controlling rearing attitude affects mother's child-rearing stress negatively.
