Inherent culture of an ethnic group is national competitiveness in this global era. Intangible culture properties, symbol of traditional Korean heritage, is a significant human resource because it is characterized generation to generation. Intangible culture property can be define either items special skill or technique holders in the field of drama, music, dance and handcraft, which are face to extinct by intangible cultural outcome and nations support them based on the Cultural Properties Protection Law. This research investigated how they develop their career and what are the factors influenced to process development of their career to utilize the method of one’s life story through depth interview, which include the process of growth, from beginning stage to development of career access method. To achieve this, we utilized the qualitative research and non-structural, semi- structural questionnaire; combine recording in-depth interviewing to procure sources. The result of in-depth research of them drew 8 categories, 23 sub-categories and 56 small subjects, based on decal material through coding. The development of their career of intangible culture property is classified as six stages: entry growth stage, career exploration stage, career development stage, career maturation stage, career_maintain stage, and career decline stage. We named and added ‘career_maintain’ stage, which is the stage of ‘after approval’ time of holder. The most significant fact to obtain their professional skill is meeting their masters, which decides their career. This research showed they developed the capabilities to choose ‘what they like’ their occupation through challenge and overcome in Japanese colonial era and Korean War; national turbulent. By the society stabilized and social demand of traditional culture increase, they recognized skill and artistic talent from the nation as intangible culture properties.
