본 연구에서는 간호학생이 임상 실습 시 받는 실습 스트레스, 실습 만족도를 살펴보고 전문직 자아개념과의 관계를 확인함으로써 임상실습 만족도를 향상시키고, 더 나아가 전공 만족도를 높이는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 대상자는 G광역시에 소재하고 있는 3년제 간호학과 두 개교와 J도에 소재한 3년제 간호학과 1개교, G도에 소재한 3년제 간호학과 1개교, 모두 4개교에서 4주 이상의 임상실습 경험이 있는 2학년과 3학년 학생 436명이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0program을 사용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과에서 임상실습 스트레스는 5점 만점에 3.5점으로 조정요인, 개인특성, 상황특성 순으로 나타났고, 임상실습 만족도는 3.04점으로 실습교과, 실습환경, 실습시간, 실습평가, 실습지도, 실습내용 순으로 나타났으며, 간호전문직 자아개념은 4점 만점에 2.73점으로 의사소통, 전문직실무, 만족감 순으로 나타났다. 간호전문직 자아개념과 임상실습 만족도는 유의한 정적인 상관관계를 나타냈다(r=.296, p<.001). 임상실습 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 간호전문직 자아개념과 간호학생에 대한 환자의 인식이었으며 총 설명력은 10%인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호학생의 임상실습 만족도를 높일 수 있는 중재방안의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
This study aimed to examine nursing students' stress and satisfaction in clinical practice and self-concept of professional nursing, investigate correlations among the three variables. The participants were 436 nursing students. Collected data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe' test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis based on the SPSS 18.0 program. The subjects scored 3.50 points of full 5 on stress in clinical practice, 3.04 of full 5 on satisfaction in clinical practice, and 2.73 of full 4 on self-concept of professional nursing. Stress in clinical practice was significantly different according to age, gender, grade and satisfaction with the major. Satisfaction in clinical practice was significantly different according to satisfaction with the major, personality, interpersonal relationships, relationships with practice colleagues, meaning of nursing, and awareness and attitude of patients of nursing student. Self-concept of professional nursing was significantly different according to grade, application motivation, satisfaction with the major, health state, personality, interpersonal relationships, relationships with practice colleagues, meaning of nursing, and awareness and attitude of patients of nursing student. There were significant correlations between satisfaction in clinical practice and self-concept of professional nursing. Those findings that the higher satisfaction in clinical practice nursing students have, the higher self-concept of professional nursing becomes. The results should be reflected in the development of effective teaching for clinical practice.
