We study the global asymptotic stability, the character of the semicycles, the periodic nature and oscillation of the positive solutions of the difference equation xn+1=p+xn-k/q+xn+xn-k/xn,n=0,1,2,….
p,q ∈ (0,∞),q ≠ 2, k∈(1,2,…)and the initial values x-k,…,x0 are arbitrary positive real numbers.
