Development of Cooperative Relay Networks is a hot issue of discussion for 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) - Advanced. In this paper, we consider Multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) system with improved Amplify-and-Forward (AF) and Decode-and-Forward (DF) relaying schemes. The paper discusses the interference cancellation technique in Multiuser MIMO network. The work of interference cancellation is followed by Evolved NodeB (eNB) and Relay Node (RN) to improve the error performance, data throughput and spectral efficiency by explicit use of RN. For the interference cancellation, we use the improved Dirty Paper Coding (DPC) and Thomilson Harashima Precoding (THP) allied with detection techniques Zero Forcing (ZF), Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE), Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC) and Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation (OSIC). These basic techniques are studied and improved in the proposal. The performance is improved by power optimization at the cooperative relay and interference cancellation using weighted vectors between eNB and RN. We observe that, compared with the conventional algorithms, the improved algorithms show better performance. The simulation results show the improvement in the error performance and throughput efficiency by the proposed scheme in LTE-Advanced system.
