People of Gojoseon, Puyeo, Goguryo is yemaek tribes. Puyeo was lately established than Gojoseon. We don’t know there are any relevant and Recognized successor between Gojoseon and Puyeo. But between the two countries can only assume that there was the exchange relationship.
Goguryeo was the founding of maek tribesand originally under the control of political power of Gojoseon. After the fall of Goguryeo the title of Joseon(朝鮮) was attached to the displaced of Goguryo. But it was not the name of the country and was merely the titles of Pyongyang Region. It does not concern that Goguryeo is recognized successor of Gojoseon.
There are Wall Pictures is similar to Dangun myth in the Goguryeo tomb murals. But there are not Dangun myth and are Nothing more than a kind of memorial culture. Even if the picture is Dangun myth, it only proves that Goguryeo had the perception of Dangun.
Chumong came from bukpuyeo or tongpuyeo. After Goguryeo annexed Puyeo, Chumong, the founder of Gogurye became the same person Dongmyung, the founder of Puyeo. It is to certify that the successor to Puyeo was Goguryeo in the society of Gogury.
