Food is a strong enough measure of a country's culture to be very important. Getting along with humans is an important role in the culture of food. Man has a very intimate relationship with food that plays a significant part of life. This act of eating affects humans from birth until death, while the act of constantly repeating food customs can result in greatly varying quality of life. In the present study the history of Japanese food and Japanese food characteristics, Japanese table manner, how to use chopsticks and drinking is investigated. Furthermore, characteristics of culture through food in the Kanto region and the Kansai region of Japan, and Korean cultural differences and cultural differences in eating are explored.
