All of creatures have their own colors and human body from top to toe has colors. Skin color has been made when men adapt them to sunlight, and it reflects colors of skin surface, melanin, carotin, oxidized hemoglobin and other pigments. Various kinds of factors can have influence upon skin colors, for instance, thickness of horny layer, blood amount, oxygen amount of blood and adhesion between cells, etc. Skin color can show health status to express images enough to meet circumstance, so that skin expression is thought to be important at makeup. Color sensation and saturation can indicate health regardless of brightness of skin. In other words, red color sensation shows good health, while yellow color sensation does poor health. Clear saturation shows good health, while impure saturation does weak physical constitution, sensitive physical strength and diseases, etc. The phenomenon may apply to all of culture and people. All of people have skin colors ranging from orange colored red to orange colored yellow regardless of races. Everyone has his or her own nature of skin: But, those skin types may always vary depending upon various kinds of factors, for instance, ages, weather, seasons and other external environments, stress, eating habit, attitude of life, sleeping time, ordinary makeup and health disorder caused by internal disease, etc. The skin may be classified into four types, that is to say, neutral, dry, oily and composite, etc, depending upon water and oil contents, in other words, functions of sebaceous glands and sweat gland. Skin color can show health status to express images in accordance with each situation so that skin expression may be important for makeup. Skin may have a variety of diseases at appearance: In particular, nevus can be made because of appearance changes accompanied by pigment coloring to let people lose confidence. Modern medical science can remove nevus but cannot remove it completely, so that tattooing is partially used to apply pigment. Researchers have made effort to reduce adverse effect of tattooing completely. When expressing skin by using foundation, that is, base of makeup, the cover makeup can remove facial skin diseases by using principles of colors to be useful for the ones having pigment coloring diseases and to research it more with interests of researchers.
