The aim of this study is to examine the characteristic and literary- historical meaning of three <The king of the flower kingdom花王傳>s, which were created for the Joseon Dynasty era. As the result of this research, we could know as belows.
A) Chae So-kwon蔡紹權's <The king of the flower kingdom> is the first work of <The king of the flower kingdom>, which opened the new phase of Kajeon假傳文學 through personification of flowers in the flower kingdom.
B) Kim Su-hang金壽恒's <The king of the flower kingdom> was created under the influence of the family traditions -for Ming明 Dynasty and against Ching淸 Dynasty- and in the situation of the Ming Dynasty's ruin. And this work made the new achievement that shows tragic beauty in the Kajeon假傳 work unlike other works showing the comics.
C) Yi Yi-sun李頤淳's <The king of the flower kingdom> shows the feature that absolutizes the value of the Hermit. This feature was created under the influence of the changes between Seoul and the provinces.
