The purpose of this study is to identify the relationships of athletes ability beliefs, tenacity, sport confidence and perceived performance in the event of a college judo player. Analysis of the mean difference according to demographic characteristics and correlation analysis and regression analysis was performed between the factors. The data were collected and analyzed for athletic ability beliefs, tenacity, sports confidence, and perceived performance in 325 college students in Gyeong-gi area. The results were as follows. First, the athleticism beliefs were higher in female athletes, and male tenacity and perceived athletic performance were higher in male athletes. The higher the grade, the higher the sport self confidence and the higher the sports career, the higher the competitiveness and the sport self confidence. Second, athletic performance beliefs, competitiveness, and sport confidence have a statistically significant effect on perceived performance. Third, there was a partial mediating effect on the relationship between athletic performance beliefs and perceived performance. based on these results, a follow up study was conducted to investigate the relationship between various background variables and the moderating effect or mediating effect of gender, athletic career, and performance level in constructing psychological skills training It should be done continuously.
