The purpose of the study was to examine the attitude toward dance of the elementaryschool teachers. The attitude toward dance was measured with the subject of 841 elementaryschool teachers by the six subdomains suggested by Kenyon (1968). MANOVA and2-way ANOVA were used(α=.05). The statistical analysis indicated that significant attitudedifferences were found within the teachers, Hotelling's T2=1.16, p<.001, η2=.54. Teachersshowed a high positive attitude toward aesthetic (M=4.0) and health and fitness (M=3.9),whereas relatively a low attitude toward vertigo (M=3.2). In the main effect of gender, femaleteachers demonstrated higher positive attitudes than male teachers.
