Based on the version of Cheonroyeokjeong(天路歷程) translated during 19 centuries in Korea, China, and Japan, this study is aiming to analyze the characteristic aspects of the translation of the three countries and the influential relationship among the three countries in the moment of translation. Initially, this study will compare and examine the aspects of the translation of the proper noun shown in the first translated versions in Korean, Chinese and Japanese for Cheonroyeokjeong. Regarding the aspects of the translation performed among Korea, China and Japan in 19 centuries for Cheonroyeokjeong following fact is identified. through this discussion. First 59 words of which Chinese names of people and places of Cheonroyeokjeong in Korean, Chinese and Japanese versions were translated in same way while 63 words of them were translated in different ways to show similar appearances in frequency. However the 50 words,80% among the translated chinese words in different ways appeared only in Korean version while in Japanese version 9 words appeared only in the translation of people’s names.
