The purpose of this study is to collect all experiences of psychological empowerment experienced in music appreciation process and to find out the phenomenon of unique empowerment that distinguishs it from other areas. For this purpose, eight music therapy professionals who have been engaged in music therapy clinical courses for more than 7 years and less than 18 years have been interviewed for in - depth interviews and the personal phenomenon experience while appreciating music were collected. In this study, we conducted in-depth interviews on all the music appreciation experiences that participants experienced in their lives without providing a new music appreciation experience for the study. The collected data were analyzed based on the modified grounded theory(O'Callaghan, 1996). According to the result, participants experienced the process of recovering self-confidence through the process of experiencing various emotions, empathy, and regulating emotions through music. The restoration of self-confidence provided psychological power to confront internal conflicts. which helped self-awareness and led to experience the process of self-expansion by experiencing internal growth.
