This study targeted fencing club members 20 years old or older in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Daegu and Busan to examine the effect of leisure engagement of fencing club participants on leisure satisfaction. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 261 of them were collected. For analyzing data from a total of 233 questionnaires excepting 28 ones with insincere or missing responses, Frequency Analysis, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis were conducted using the SPSS Window 25.0 Program. The specific study results are as follows. First, when analyzing correlations among measurement variables, the correlation value of variables was lower than .800, which means there is no problem with multicollinearity. Second, among sub-factors of leisure engagement, vitality and concentration significantly influenced leisure satisfaction. Third, in terms of the effect of leisure engagement of fencing club participants on sub-factors of leisure satisfaction, concentration, efficacy, vitality and commitment, which are sub-factors of leisure engagement significantly influenced social satisfaction, emotional satisfaction, physical satisfaction, environmental satisfaction and educational satisfaction of leisure satisfaction. In conclusion, it is anticipated that these study results will help in promoting continuous participation of fencing club participants and moreover, researching fencing from the perspective of leisure sports.
