Digital innovation in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution will affect trade according to various factors such as technological characteristics, level of technological development, and technological gap between countries. This paper aims to lead a comprehensive and macroscopic direction of trade research related to the 4th Industrial Revolution by objectively and quantitatively reviewing the results of researches that have been studied on the subject of trade related to the 4th Industrial Revolution. The selection of research subjects combines the fourth industrial revolution in the academic information service with search terms such as trade, trade, transportation, logistics, customs, customs clearance, trade insurance, contracts, and trade manpower. In addition, it combines search terms such as trade, big data, blockchain, smart, IoT, and 4.0. In the field of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the most actively researched field in the trade field is the international logistics field and the smart trade contract using block-chain technology. Some research on customs administration, big data, and professional manpower training were also conducted. The case study was conducted on AI trade and digital trade.
