Thirty five cases of pathlogically prove carcinoma of the gallbladder at Yonsei Univ. College. of Med. Severance Hospital in the period from may 1978 to Oct. 1982 were analyzed radiologically and clinically. The brief results are as follows : 1. The ration of male to female was 1 : 1.2 and prevalent in the sixth decade of life. 2. Clinical feature show RUQ pain in 24 cases. Epigastric pain in 13 cases and jaundice in 6 cases, sympton duration is variable from 1 wk to over year. 3. Oral and IV cholangiography were performed in 17 cases. Nonvisualization of gallbladder was observed in 14 cases. Filling defect in gallbladder was observed in 14 cases. Filling defect in gallbladder was observed in 2 cases and air biliarygram is observed in 1 case. 4. UGI series was performed in 11 cases. Postbulbar indentation was observed in 9 cases, gastric antrum indentation in 2 cases, postbulbar indentation with adhesion in 2 cases and normal dinfing was observed in 2 cases. 5. PTC was performed in 7 cases. Nonvisualization of gallbladder was observed in 7 cases, abrupt obstruction at porta hepatis in 3 cases, abrupt eccentric obstruction extrahepatic duct at cystic duct level in 2 cases, lobulated mass effect in extrahepatic duct at the level of cystic duct opening in 1 case. Round swing of extrahepatic duct with dilatation was observed in 1 case. 6. ERCP was performed in 11 cases. Nonvisualization of gallbladder was observed in 8 cases, irregular large intraluminal filling defect in 2 cases, multiple stone in 1 case, abrupt narrowing proximal CBD in 3 cases, extrinsic mass effect in CHD was observed in 1 case. 7. Celiac angiography was perfromed in 3 cases. Cystic artery hypertrophy was observed in 1 case and halo appearance in gallbladder area was observed in 1 case. 8. Ultrasound for invertiagation of carcinoma of gallbladder was performed in 16 cases. Homogenous echoes in gallbladder was observed in 6 cases, Bull's eye appearance in 4 cases, fungasting mass in 3 cases, infiltrating mass in 3 cases and associated stone was observed in 4 cases and cholecystitis or empyema of gallbladder finding in 4 cases.
