Today is "the Age of Sensibility", when consumers want to have goods only for themselves. So it is essential to make goods that can have consumers satisfied, or even impressed. Therefore, it is important to focus on the sensibility of consumers in men′s suit design. To develop jacket designs for this purpose, terms on sensibility appropriate for evaluating men′s suit design were compiled into a database - a configuration database, which was put later to user interface on the internet. The conclusion of this study is as follows: 1. A total of 380 terms were collected and analyzed for their factors. As a result, seven factors and sixty seven sensibility terms were adopted. Factor 1 turned out to be dignity, while factor 2 is attractiveness, factor 3 practicality, factor 4 bodily shape, factor 5 appearance, factor 6 masculinity, and finally factor 7 activeness. 2. To build a database about sensibility of men′s suits, research methods of human sensibility engineering were used. Sensory tests on the thirty of men′s clothes with different designs were carried out, and the result was processed statistically using General Liner I Statistics.(중략)
