The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of the leadership style of racehorse trainers on empowerment and team cohesion. The subject of the study was a questionnaire survey of horse managers working in 48 horse stations belonging to the Seoul Racecourse Assistant Teacher Association. Among the collected questionnaires, 308 copies were used for analysis, and data analysis was conducted using SPSS 24 to identify demographic characteristics, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach"s α, and variables to verify the validity and reliability of the survey tool. The conclusions obtained by conducting a correlation analysis to find out the correlation and multicollinearity between the variables and multiple regression analysis to analyze the influence relationship between variables are as follows.
First, intellectual stimulation and charisma of transformational leadership had an effect on the determination of empowerment, and individual consideration was found to have a significant effect on meaning and influence. Second, it was found that the situational compensation and management of exceptions in transactional leadership had a significant effect on the empowerment"s competence and determination, respectively. Third, it was found that the intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership negatively affected the social cohesion of team cohesion, and individual consideration had a negative effect on task cohesion. Fourth, it was found that the situational reward of transactional leadership had a significant effect on the social cohesion of team cohesion, and the management of exceptions had a significant effect on both social cohesion and task cohesion. Fifth, it was found that the competence of empowerment had a significant effect on the task cohesion of team cohesion.
